A few more 'Spring firsts' to write about today:

A few patches of Primroses are now out along the main track at Ham Wall.

A sad sight, my first snake of the year, a Grass Snake, found dead on the access track to the hide at Catcott, squished fairly recently by a car.

The Pied-billed Grebe was still at Ham Wall this morning, and singing louder than ever. The female Greater Scaup I first saw 3 weeks was still there too.
